POSITION TITLE: Graphics and Merchandise Manager
POSITION TYPE: Full Time
# OF OPENINGS: 1
DESCRIPTION: The Graphics and Merchandise Manager's duties consists of overseeing all print design, advertising and web design. They must be able to work closely with printers and vendors to ensure timely production within tight deadlines. This position is in charge of all website design and maintenance, along with maintaining the online store. The Graphics and Merchandise Manager oversees the Flyers Gift Shop and merchandise orders. Responsible for group ticket sales and other general office and game-day duties.
START DATE: Immediate
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be proficient using Adobe Photoshop CS2, Adobe Illustrator CS2, Adobe InDesign CS2, Microsoft Office and Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 (on a PC platform). Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field required. Sales experience preferred.

POSITION TITLE: Seasonal Internships
POSITION TYPE: Internship
# OF OPENINGS: 10
DESCRIPTION: The Schaumburg Flyers will be hiring 8-10 interns for the 2008 season. Internships are available in the following areas: Tickets, Group Sales, Merchandising, Stadium Operations, Sales & Promotions, and Grounds Crew. Each intern will receive a well rounded experience. In addition to your departmental duties, every intern will be expected to sell tickets, execute on-field promotions, handle mascot duties, front desk coverage, and much more.

The Flyers offer a very comprehensive internship program as each intern is treated as an extension of the full-time managerial staff and given a great deal of responsibility. Unlike most internships we train you in both off season and in season operations making you more valuable to a future employer.
START DATE: Spring 2008
QUALIFICATIONS: Desire to pursue a career in the sport industry. Candidates seeking internship for college credit is a requirement. Computer Literate (knowledge of Word and Excel are a must). Strong communication skills, strong customer service skills, team player. Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
