Interested in Becoming a 2008 Host Family? |
|

|
The Schaumburg Flyers are looking for generous and willing families to open their homes to players for the 2008 season. Our 2007 host families were fantastic but we are always interested in hearing from potential new families for the 2008 season. The host family program is a vital part of every minor league team, and we at the Flyers believe the quality of people who live in the Schaumburg area will set our host family program apart from the rest of the league.
There is some background information every potential host family needs to know before they sign up. We, as an organization, offer this information to you in order to ensure the best possible experience for our players as well as you and your family.
Host families invite a player into their home for the duration of spring training, regular season, and through the playoffs. As a host family, it would be your responsibility to provide your Flyer with a stable, clean, and healthy environment.
At this time we are looking for host families willing to commit to the entire season (May through mid- September) Host families are not financially compensated, but the chance to experience the day to day experiences of a minor league ballplayer is an opportunity few people will get to witness. Along with this each host family is rewarded with four season tickets, giving the opportunity to watch the Flyers at each of the 48 home games.
